Coffee Ceremony
Purpose: To refresh and reflect their weekly activities among country office staff. It also used for addressing updates to the staff members
Duration: Biweekly – every Friday.
Amref Health Africa Toastmasters Club
Purpose: To capacitate and enable Amref team in presentation skills and public speaking
Sessions Conducted: 6
Members: 27
Female Male Ratio: 22 Female and 5 Male
Pause and Learn
Purpose: To give a specific time by all staff to learn in order to bring a learning culture
Platforms: Virtual and in person
Major activities that has been done:-
- Integration session: All units share their unit specific activities to all staff in the form booth and reflection sessions. It’s implemented both at Country Office and regions
- Staff well-being: Sport activities have done at Country Office once in a month
Book Review
Purpose: To read books, reflect on read books, share key takeaways, and how to implement on the work
Sessions Conducted: Three (3) – Human Resources
Books that was covered in this session: Who Moved My Cheese, and Seven Habits
Additional activities that have been done: Provided 10 books form South Ethiopia Amref Staff to start the book review activity
Next plan: To disseminate the activities to all units by selecting learning champions from each unit
